Google Analytics

Continued with the article submission process today. Had a couple bugs to work out, but over all it went very smoothly.

In order to understand and track the traffic that comes to my sites better, I signed up for Google Analytics awhile ago. I feel a little uneasy about being so close to Google, but the service is valuable and it was recommended in the Keyword Avalanche forum. (I obviously pay a lot of attention to what some of the KA members recommend.)

Looking at the data today, I see that my traffic is picking up for a number of my adsense sites and it’s coming primarily from Google, MSN, Ezine Articles, some social bookmarking sites, and the Article Underground blogs. So a variety.

What’s the deal with Yahoo, though? I seem to have the hardest time getting indexed by them. Any ideas?

I’m feeling really good about my focused efforts lately and the direction I’m headed. Very cool.

Have a good one!

Article Submitting in Progress

I’m right now in the process of submitting an article to a whole bunch of article directories with Article Post Robot. I’m thrilled! The posting process moves much more quickly that I expected.

I did a little research earlier today about which keywords on my adsense sites would be easiest to rank for in Google. Then I started with one of the easiest, rewrote that article and started submitting. With the spooler script I used, my articles are all 30% different from each other. This feels so cool, like I’ve jumped a huge hurdle successfully and now it’s full steam ahead.

The rewriting process took awhile, but I know with practice I’ll get better.

Now I’m curious to find out what kind of a change in traffic and adsense clicks I experience. This will be fun. I’ll keep you posted.

Blogini 2.0 Pre-Launch

Right now I feel super excited about all that is coming with Blogini 2.0. I’m getting more of a picture of what the restructuring will look like, and Ken Fox’s enthusiasm is contagious. The new pre-launch starts next Tuesday, on March 13, 2007. You can go there right now to sign up for the pre-launch notification list and get all the scoop as it’s developing. The features, the bonuses, the add-ons and the cost are very creative and very exciting. Check it out…Blogini 2.0.

There’s a WSO going on right now at the Warrior Forum, for a free ebook on how to find a good niche. This is the real tail end of the WSO, but check that out too if you think you might be interested. It’s really well done.

That’s all for now, have a good one!

Article Directory Time

I’ve been sort of moaning for awhile now as I’ve been registering for article directories. As of today, I am registered in 263 PR3-PR6 directories, and I’m ready to begin submitting articles. This is in promotion of my adsense websites.

I’ll use a content spooler script to make the articles unique, and then send them out to the directories using Article Post Robot. To effectively use the spooler, I have to designate a variety of synonyms and phrases through out the article, so the software can mix and match and come up with numberous combinations resulting in relatively unique articles. I’m sure the extra work will pay off limiting duplicant content problems and making the backlinks more valuable. At least it better pay off! I’ll be watching.

I’m curious to see what the University 2020 looks like. It’s supposed to be announced tomorrow.

Until then, have a good one!

Marketing Education

There is so much fun stuff going on these days in internet marketing. I feel like I’m in a place of needing to take action on what I do know, but also wanting to learn so much more about so many areas.

So I’m learning about adsense and implementing what I’m learning. I’m taking action with article marketing. I’m doing some blogging.

But, in pulling together my list of potential projects for 5 Bucks a Day, it became so clear I need to have so many more skills. Understanding affiliate marketing, minisites, landing pages, CPA, eBay, and PPC are a few of the areas that would be so valuable to learn. Again, I can only do one thing at a time, but I love learning and will continue.

To that end, I did sign up for the Niche Marketing on Crack forum, with Andrew Hansen, today. That ebook is fabulous and the forum, with videos and tutorials will bring it all to life. I’m excited.

And there’s so much more! SEO2020 starts a class on Monday. Income.com is starting something soon. So, keep applying what I am learning, finish what I start, and keep on learning more and more and more. Hopefully I’ll be doing this for a long long time.

Have a good one!
