Finally Entering the Forex Niche

Well, I’ve decided to enter the Forex niche. I was doing some research over the past days and realized the niche is very very lucrative. I figured even if I get minimal traffic, with the value of adsense clicks alone, I could do fairly well.

I picked out a domain name and now I’ll get going on a site. My plan is to use PLR articles and adsense in addition to promoting Clickbank products. That’s pretty typical, but I have a video created to promote a specific CB product that has a gravity through going the roof. It’ll be fun to see how that does.

The adsense average cost per click (CPC) for keywords in the forex niche is around $8 a click. The highest value CPC for a keyword is over $20 and the lowest is $3 for the first 150 keywords. That’s pretty incredible and I’d be very happy with a slice of it.

The PLR articles I plan to use are written by Rosie Cottis, who has an excellent reputation on the Warrior Forum for her writing skills. She is submitting an article a day to subscribers, so we should be able to keep up with a fairly regular posting schedule and have plenty left over for reports and autoresponders. Rosie is also limiting the number of article packs that will go out, so that should ease any saturation.

It will still be important to do some keyword research to figure out the best words to optimize and build links for. That might be the most challening part of this whole project, since almost every other Internet marketer in the world is already in the Forex niche.

I’m expecting this will be time well spent and a very good learning experience if nothing else. I’ll let you know.

Why I Recommend XSitePro

The first websites I ever built were created with XSitePro web design software v1.0. I purchased the software on the recommendation of many other marketers, most of whom said it was super easy to use right out of the box. Well, I found I had a little longer learning curve than that, but for the most part had little trouble getting a website up and running.

Actually the program is very simple and very complicated at the same time. By complicated I guess I mean powerful. You can make the simplest one page sales letter or 3 page minisite or you can create an authority site where you schedule content to be posted over time and create multiple pages using tokens for really quickly adding content. But you don’t have to learn any of the advanced stuff to create really effective websites. That’s probably what I like the most.

This is an image of the XSitePro interface with my Yellow Dog Marketing website. Everything you need is a click away. You can create the layout, add the content, incorporate affiliate or adsense links, and upload the site to the server from the same control panel. You can do all of these tasks or just one. I skip around all the time.

When version 2 was released I upgraded right away because of all the added features. Features like scheduling content to be posted over time, creating RSS feeds, easily incorporating RSS feeds into your content. They also include dozens and dozens of updated templates. That’s literally just the beginning of the list of new features, but they caught my attention because in many ways they allow XSitePro to mimic the WordPress platform.

And I love working with WordPress. But, overall, I’d have to say XSitePro website design software has a shorter learning curve than WordPress. It’s really easy to tweak a template in XSP. With WP you really can’t avoid digging into the CSS style sheet or other code to make the changes you want. That can be scary.

With XSitePro, you rarely have to touch the code, although sometimes it’s easier to go this route once you know some basic HTML. With the design capabilities, my sites can look however I want them to. I can incorporate stripes and wide layouts like a web2.0 site or go more basic.

Okay, enough. I won’t keep going on here.  I’ll conclude by saying XSitePro is convenient, quick and versatile to use. I wouldn’t be without it.
