Article Submitting in Progress

I’m right now in the process of submitting an article to a whole bunch of article directories with Article Post Robot. I’m thrilled! The posting process moves much more quickly that I expected.

I did a little research earlier today about which keywords on my adsense sites would be easiest to rank for in Google. Then I started with one of the easiest, rewrote that article and started submitting. With the spooler script I used, my articles are all 30% different from each other. This feels so cool, like I’ve jumped a huge hurdle successfully and now it’s full steam ahead.

The rewriting process took awhile, but I know with practice I’ll get better.

Now I’m curious to find out what kind of a change in traffic and adsense clicks I experience. This will be fun. I’ll keep you posted.

Article Directory Time

I’ve been sort of moaning for awhile now as I’ve been registering for article directories. As of today, I am registered in 263 PR3-PR6 directories, and I’m ready to begin submitting articles. This is in promotion of my adsense websites.

I’ll use a content spooler script to make the articles unique, and then send them out to the directories using Article Post Robot. To effectively use the spooler, I have to designate a variety of synonyms and phrases through out the article, so the software can mix and match and come up with numberous combinations resulting in relatively unique articles. I’m sure the extra work will pay off limiting duplicant content problems and making the backlinks more valuable. At least it better pay off! I’ll be watching.

I’m curious to see what the University 2020 looks like. It’s supposed to be announced tomorrow.

Until then, have a good one!

Getting Things Done

Being struck today with how much time everything seems to take. It’s amazing! It seems like some internet marketers turn out project after project and website after website. How?

Okay, so I’ll let go of feeling crazy and focus on what I can do. Looks like my “5 Bucks a Day” project for the week, of finishing up the promotion for the adsense sites I created, is pretty unrealistic. I’ll keep working at it, and I’ll probably need to focus on the same thing next week. The key here is to actually finish it, instead of leaving a bunch of loose ends.

In my adsense coaching class, we’re switching to a new keyword research tool, one that does not rely on Overture for gathering valuable data. I saw some demo videos on it today, and it looks incredibly powerful. I’ll wait to mention the name until I get a chance to check it out and play around a little bit. It sure looks fun, though.

I sure love what I’m doing here and am having so much fun. What a gift! Have a good one.

5 Bucks a Day Project 1: Promoting with Articles

Not much excitement going on. I’ve spent hours the past few days registering for article directories so I can submit the articles for my adsense sites. I think I used the word tedious a few posts ago. I’ve got a couple hundred done, and at least that many to go. The good news is, once it’s done, it’s done!

Picked up a cool idea from a forum recently regarding articles and social bookmarking sites. Besides bookmarking the pages on your website, you can bookmark the articles that you have posted in ezinearticles.com. It’s just one more way to get some exposure to your keywords and websites. It’s also pretty easy. Again, I use Bookmarking Demon for that purpose.

I’m implementing the focus of the “5 Bucks a Day” group this week, and choosing a project. This week I am focusing on finishing up all the initial promotion for my first block of adsense sites. That means getting all the promotional articles edited and submitted to the major and the secondary article directories. I’ve already done the social bookmarking piece. I will also familiarize myself with a technique for using free blogs to promote as well, and spend some time adding comments to blogs with high PR that are keyword specific. That should draw some attention anyway.

Once that’s done, it’s time to start a new cycle of article promotion, and get some new sites built. But for this week, I’ll let just about everything else slide and just focus on promoting these sites. Next week I’ll pick a new project for the week. Cool plan, huh?

And another cool thing I almost forgot. I got ahold of a free copy of GoTryThis from one of the websites set up for internet marketers to donate products so they can build their lists (I can’t think of what they’re called…). GTT is software for camoflaging and tracking affiliate links. I was able to install it on the url www.boymillion.us today. Now when I market Boy Million, I can use this url with tracking included, instead of using www.yellowdog.ws, which is where I have my paid copy of GTT installed. Feels like genius to me! Guess I’ll find out.

We got about a foot of snow over the weekend. It’s beautiful. Have a good one.

Updating Websites

My focus this weekend has been on adding a number of articles on taxes to my finance site. I got these articles through a Warrior Forum WSO a short time ago, and am finding them really well written and informative.

I’ll finish editing and publish the new articles tomorrow and then start to promote like crazy to get some traffic. I’ll do that by submitting the site to directories, posting comments on blogs, submitting to social bookmarking sites, and announcing the pages on Article Underground blogs. That’s a start. Then I plan to do some article submissions too. I’m guessing I’m even a little late getting these pages up, but it’s good info and we’ll see what happens. So far I only have adsense on the site, but I’ll also add some affiliate links. I’m really enjoying doing this.

I learned of a really cool tool today, courtesy of Dr. Andy Williams. It’s called a Keyword bookmarklet, and clicking on it brings up a report of all the keywords and related keywords for the website you currently are looking at. Very cool tool. I only played with it briefly, but it looks like it brings up all kinds of keywords that aren’t even on your site, sort of like I would suspect of an LSI tool. I’ll play with it somemore and let you know what I find. You can find the tool at: www.seoprotoolz.com. Have fun!
