NicheBot2 to the Rescue

The big news today is the demise of the Overture Keyword Suggestion Tool. It appears Yahoo! will no longer be maintaining it in its current form. This is turning most of the keyword analysis tools upside down, because they rely on Overture alone for their data. While each of these keyword programs works to rediscover itself, there is one keyword program currently available that did not rely exclusively on Overture.

That tool is NicheBot2, which offers a suite of keyword research tools including Keyword Discovery, WordTracker, and Google. I recommend checking it out before you panic. To do that, start here:

Take action now and you won’t lose any ground in your keyword research.

That’s all for now.

Adsense and Affiliate Marketing in 2007

Here’s a post I just made to my blog on Senserely Yours. Not sure how to describe what Senserely is about, except it provides a community for online folks focused thinly around adsense and promising a share in adsense revenue. It’s free and has lots of activity too!
“So 2007 is now well underway and I’ve decided to put some intentions in writing so I can gage my success throughout the year.

As I mentioned, I am involved in a program to learn to create adsense websites that will actually bring in visitors and clicks. That should lead to earning a check from Google. The keyword research has become a snap! An element of this training is to learn to put these sites on autopilot by outsourcing the site maintenance. Sounds good to me! So ultimately, I could create quite an empire of these sites, which is one of my intentions for 2007. To create a high 4 figure monthly adsense income following this process.

I recently joined the Warrior Master Mind, which is a program being offered by Allen Says on the Warrior Forum. His focus in on building minisites for gathering optins and growing subscriber lists, then following up with a long series of autoresponder messages promoting affiliate products and services. I like the model a lot, and feel pretty privileged to be able to learn it through him. So apparently these sites can also run pretty much on autopilot once established. That sounds pretty cool and is another intention for 2007. Create a high 4 figure monthly affiliate income following Allen’s process.

Beyond that, there are so many options! Bum Marketing, Social Networking, etc. One excellent option and opportunity is a class being offered by Ken Fox of Blogini fame. This in only for the members of Blogini, but he is offering to mentor us in creating an internet business.

I could go on and on, but I’ll leave some for future posts. I wish the best to everyone in their online ventures!

P.S. Check out my Squidoo Lens! It needs a little more work, and that’s my focus for tomorrow…”

Keyword Avalanche Opening to New Members Soon

I learned today that Keyword Avalanche will be opening for new members nearer the end of January. This rarely happens, so if you’re interested, visit soon, or you’ll lose your chance.

Keyword Avalanche basically offers everything a marketer needs to know to succeed online regardless of niche area. They cover white, gray, and black hat techniques and everything in between. There is a private forum that is very active. I visit daily. There’s a ton of good discussion going on. The tone is friendly and encouraging. There are detailed explanations of how to implement all sorts of techniques. There are discounts on products, a membership to NicheBot 2 for keyword research, 200 exclusive articles a month, and audio interviews with experts. It’s really loaded.

One of the biggest benefits is first hand access to Tim Gorman who is THE expert on article marketing, along with experts in a bunch of other fields, like blogging, tag and ping, mindset, etc.

Do check it out now if you’re at all interested. Now that I’m in, I wouldn’t let it go.

That’s it for now.

Website Design Software

Working with NVU, free wysiwyg website designer software, is certainly different than working with XSitePro. NVU is quirky and seems to add a bunch of unnecessary html behind the scenes. But it does have it’s advantages too. With XSP the layout of every page has to be the same, meaning the header and sidebar(s) so you can change every page at once. With NVU, every page can be different, but for the elements that you want uniform on each page, if you make a change on one page you have to go into every page and make the same change. Weird.

XSP is the only software before now that I have used to create a site, so I don’t speak from much experience. It is much easier to use overall though than NVU. There’s another free software, 1stPage2006, that comes recommended. Maybe I’ll try that for future sites. Not sure XSitePro would work well for the sites we are creating in my adsense coaching program.

What I’d really like to try out is a copy of Dreamweaver. Time to start saving my pennies?

Finding niches by the coach’s guidelines has become a piece of cake. I have found dozens. Very fun. And Keyword Elite is coming through for me. I’m liking it alot, but haven’t even begun to use its full potential.

That’s all for now.

The Next Step: Outsourcing

I’ve journeyed into the world of outsourcing this week. I’m looking for people to write keyword focused articles for my new adsense sites. I’m curious to see how it turns out and look forward to getting a couple contracts behind me and feel confident and clear about outsourcing. I found one writer through the Keyword Avalanche forum, another through guru.com. I expect that more will respond to my project on guru.com. There will be plenty of work to spread around and I’ll find some writers to work with over the long haul. I’m glad to be moving in this direction.

Actually, as I think about doing adsense sites, it sounds pretty archaic. However, I’ll trust that adsense isn’t dead and I am learning some skills that will be very valuable in internet marketing. Keyword research and outsourcing are good examples of this. Another focus of the adsense coaching I am involved in is creating a CPA network. This is something that is really taking hold in the internet marketing world and I know little about it. My plan with the adsense sites is to earn some decent money by learning from someone who has done it a whole bunch of times, learn to put it on autopilot, and then branch out with my new skills and experience.

I have also begun to delve into understanding Web2.0, which seems to be the umbrella name for social bookmarking and social networking. That is a HUGE arena and I’m getting my feet wet. This is my bedtime reading for right now, and adsense is my day job.

That’s enough for now. Thanks for visiting.
