Wow! Time Flies!

It’s been too long since I last posted. I’ve been making progress, though….

I have read Joel Comm’s How to Build a Website Fast. It’s really comprehensive and readable. Gave me a great overview and helped make the process look less daunting.

I also read Robert Allen’s Multiple Streams of Internet Income. Tons of great information with countless links and recommendations. Very readable and enjoyable.

As mentioned, my first project is to create some adsense content sites. To do that (hopefully) properly I subscribed to a program that provides well researched content in 12 “high-profit, high-traffic” niches each month (more on that later). So far I have found the whole program to be an exceptional value, with great content and even better support.

To learn more about adsense I looked to an expert, and purchased Joel Comm’s Making Money with Adsense. Haven’t read it yet, but it’s on the top of the pile.

Welcome to YellowDog Ventures!

This is my starting point for creating an online business. I intend to use this blog space to chronicle my journey as an internet marketer. If no one else ever reads it, that’s fine. But it will give me a record of the process I followed to achieve success online.

My initial plans are to set up some Adsense content sites, then get established as an affiliate promoter, and later to create some products of my own to offer on my websites. In the midst of this I want to learn how to build an opt-in list, use an auto responder, and begin the art of creating relationships with the people on my list.

Things most on my mind right now are:
â—¦ what software to use to create websites?
â—¦ what hosting plan(s) to sign up for?
â—¦ and, will I be able to put a site together?

I’ll get working on these, and report back in a couple days.

Bye for now.
